Highlights of Our Practice

Sterile and Safe Water

Have you heard about contaminated water in dental offices? Are you worried about how it may affect your health and safety?

Many patients are concerned that dental unit waterlines (the small tubes that supply water spray to instruments used in dental offices) have been shown to be collect "
biofilm"—the primary source of contaminated water in dental offices.

At Snow Dental Care we provide an
isolated water system. This technology utilizes individual sterile water reservoirs for each treatment room to eliminate biofilm completely in our office. You can have complete confidence in the steps we have taken to ensure your health and safety in our office environment.

Magnification in Treatment

Have you even wondered how your dentist can see anything in the small, dark space inside your mouth?

Although California Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Snow's eye sight is better than 20:20, allowing him to see detail that most people cannot, he uses Zeiss surgical microscopes to magnify, observe, monitor, and refine even the smallest detail of each procedure he performs as he cares for his patients.

Intraoral Camera and Imaging

Do you ever have difficulty picturing exactly what is happening in your mouth? Is it hard for you to imagine what the doctor is talking about while discussing problems or recommended treatment-especially when you don't feel like there is anything wrong?

We have the solution! We were the second office in Northern California to introduce an intraoral camera to our practice. The camera, no bigger than a common dental mirror, projects enlarged images of teeth and gums on a television screen to aid Dr. Snow in confirming his diagnosis. You can personally see developing problem areas before they become severe. A picture can be printed out on the spot, too. You can take your picture home with you to share your hopes and desires with your family as you consider the possibilities for your smile.

Digital Radiography

Are you concerned with the amount of x-rays to which you are exposed?

At Snow Dental Care, we utilize cutting-edge technology called Computerized Digital Radiography to obtain images of your teeth. A small sensor is placed in your mouth which takes images that are stored in a computer. This method offers many advantages. The image is instantly displayed on the computer screen. This means no waiting for darkroom developing and no processing chemicals (so it is friendly to the environment.)

Most importantly, you are exposed to only 1/10th the amount of radiation as with the old-style x-ray films! The image can even be enlarged and clarified to enhance Dr. Snow's diagnostic ability-helping to discover problems when they are smaller. In the future, we predict that all dentist offices will have this technology. Snow Dental Care has it today!

A "front deskless" experience?

Where do you "check in"? We prefer to greet you as a welcome guest!

We don't have "check in" desks at our homes when friends come to visit, and we don't believe they belong at Snow Dental Care either! Our office is designed to be "front-deskless"-you won't find pebbled-glass windows or sign-in clip boards here. You are a welcomed guest in our office. We want to create a relaxing and quiet environment while maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of each patient. Please come in and make yourself at home.

Don't worry? California Cosmetic Dentist Dr Snow can see you arrive through our fish tank! Shortly after, our Treatment Coordinator will greet you, offer you a refreshment, and escort you in for your consultation. After caring for you in any treatment room, we can take care of everything else right there: planning future treatment, setting up your next appointment, and even handling any financial questions you may have. This way you receive the uninterrupted, individualized attention that you deserve.
